Upswell’s new registration model

From bodegas to board rooms, town halls to kitchen tables, the best ideas for improving society come from places as diverse as the communities we serve. And if we’re going to solve America’s toughest challenges, we need to unleash the full potential of everyone who identifies as a changemaker.

In that spirit, we’ve redesigned the Upswell registration model to democratize access, so that every voice can be heard and every good idea considered.

Whether you’re a nonprofit practitioner, funder, social entrepreneur, corporate citizen, civil servant, community activist, or volunteer, there’s a place for you at Upswell – regardless of your budget, job title, or organizational affiliation.

There are six different ways you can register for Upswell Chicago:

Core | Drawing on the resources of an organization, business, or government agency, you can afford to pay the “true cost” of the Upswell experience.

Subsidized | Coming from a small nonprofit or foundation (less than $1 million in annual revenue or grantmaking), Upswell is only realistic for you with a subsidized rate.

Premium | You want all the benefits of Core Admission, plus exclusive networking events, access to Main Stage speakers, and tickets to two community events.

Equity | You know that change can only happen when everyone has a seat at the table. In addition to your own Core Access registration, you’ll contribute one Subsidized Access registration to a fund that covers the participation cost for deserving changemakers who couldn’t otherwise attend.

Independent | You’re a community leader or a volunteer working to make the world better without any formal organizational affiliation or resources.

Exhibitor | As an exhibitor, you want to share your ideas and services right in the thick of the bustling, high-energy Public Square.

There are three more things to know!

• The pricing structure is progressive, meaning that you save more by registering earlier.
• You can add a Chicago Inside & Out tour and/or community dinner to your registration. The Premium option automatically includes both.
• The Subsidized and Independent rates each have a limited quality – so register soon!
