Meet Kristin Feltz!
// By Jacqueline Brennan
This Upswell registrant Q&A features one of California’s own. Kristin Feltz of Chlid360 made two specific points in this Q&A that we call get behind. First, through education, we can empower children to change the world. Second, and we quote, “a day at the beach is everything.” There are few statements so accurate. Check out this short Q&A for more on this Kristin. You can meet her at Upswell in just two weeks!
Q: Who are you, what drives you, what are you working on, and why are you inspired to make the world a better place?
KF: I’m the Director of Marketing & Communications at Child360, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting early learning from every angle. I’m passionate about education and the power it holds to take children places and change their world. Our world. Currently, my colleagues and I are embarking on a new season within the organization as we broaden our reach throughout California and beyond to provide even more children with the foundation to succeed in school and life.
Q: What’s your favorite way to relax?
KF: A sunny day at the beach is everything!
Q: What does “changemaker” mean to you?
KF: To me, a changemaker is a thought disruptor (in a good way!). Someone who provokes us to think differently and open our eyes to a new perspective, idea or approach.
Q: If you could invite any group or individual to Upswell, who would it be?
KF: Colin Kaepernick. I’m inspired by his bravery and his ability to create real conversation and real change.
